Trump Assassination Attempt: Suspect Named as Ryan Wesley Routh, Not Ryan Ruth
The Trump assassination attempt suspect on Sept 15, 2024, is “Ryan Wesley Routh,” not “Ryan Ruth.” The 58-year-old man has been arrested.
Wesley was spotted by Secret Service agents Sunday in the bushes outside Mr. Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida, According to authorities.
They also found two backpacks, a GoPro camera, and an AK-47 style rifle with a scope where Wesley was hiding.
The suspect fled in a black SUV but was found and arrested after a witness gave police the vehicle tags.
His LinkedIn profile states that he owns Camp Box Honolulu, a shed construction business that started in 2018.
He studied mechanical engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University between 1995 and 1998, according to his page.
Also, On his X account, his bio says “born in America, with freedom, opportunity, and hope,” and adds that he aims not to waste such a precious gift, striving “to do more and take less.”
A few hours after Ryan Wesley Routh was the suspect in the assassination attempt of Donald Trump, his Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) accounts were allegedly suspended.
Ryan Wesley Routh has expressed support for Taiwan in his social media posts, including one where he mentioned wanting “to provide Taiwan with thousands of NATO-trained Afghan soldiers.”
