As of the time of this writing, Celine Dion is still alive and well. There have been several false reports of her death on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

The fake rumors going around social media claim she died due to her health issues.

Celine Dion’s Health Issues

Celine Dion has been suffering from health problems since 2022 when she began postponing several shows.

She canceled her tour in May 2023 due to complications from stiff person syndrome. This is a rare neurological condition that causes spasms and muscle rigidity.

“I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again.” She told CNN.

“I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%,” 

Dion added: “It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”

Celine Dion is still alive. The videos posted on YouTube and other social media platforms are bogus and designed to garner more views.

According to the most recent health update provided by Dion’s sister, Claudette, Celine Dion is in “a determined state of mind” and “working hard” to manage her symptoms.

“We’re all crossing our fingers, and I’m glad people are concerned,” Claudette told host Jean-Philippe Wauthier during an appearance on the Quebec TV show, Bonsoir Bonsoir, Hello! Magazine reported.

“She is working hard, and we are confident that we will succeed. It can’t be a story like this.”
