Popular Nigerian influencer Nons Miraj has finally responded to recent allegations made by Alax Evalsam, the viral “Fish Pie” seller.
Evalsam, whose catchy tune propelled him to internet fame in 2024, accused unnamed individuals of taking advantage of him during his rise to prominence.
In a heated reply, Nons Miraj said, “I dare you to call the names of those who used you. Don’t ruin my brand because you don’t want to call names.”
Evalsam had earlier revealed struggles stemming from his viral fame, including financial difficulties and an empty shop, despite rumors of receiving large cash gifts.
“If they had given me all that money, I am a businessman and would have used it to stock my shop. But if you visit my shop now, it is empty, and there are no goods,” he explained.
He also lamented the loss of control over his social media accounts, emphasizing he has not benefited financially from his newfound popularity.
He said: “I do not have a Facebook page, and all those accounts with millions of views are not mine. My first one was taken from me, and another person used it,”
He added: “I have not made a dime from social media, and the only time I make money is when they call me for skit-making. I don’t know how to make money on social media, and it’s only now that I’m learning,”
